The Current Events Lecture Series presents the “Offshore Stealth Wealth and the New Colonialism” with Brooke Harrington.
Brooke Harrington is Professor of Sociology at Dartmouth and her recently published book is a Financial Times best book of the year. The deep dive reveals what offshore finance costs us all, and how it has colonized the world- not on behalf of any one country, but to benefit a largely invisible empire of a few thousand billionaires.
Prof. Harrington will discuss her work in conversation with Proprietor Gil Barndollar. A reception will follow.
This lecture is sponsored by Essential Planning LLC.
