Scope and Content: Collection includes one account book dated 1926-1928 for William Irving Randall, an electrician in Portsmouth. Randall did electrical work at numerous local homes and businesses, as documented in the account book.

Biographical note: William Irving Randall was born in Portsmouth, NH on 8 Aug 1889 to Ella M. Wiggin and John D. Randall. William worked as an electrician, operating an electrical shop out of 11 Daniel Street in Portsmouth and lived at 419 Lincoln Ave, according to the 1926 City Directory. He married first 10 May 1921, Alice B. House. Following the death of Alice on 24 January 1926 he married second Gertrude B. (Bridle) Neely on 14 January 1928. He had three children: John D. Randall, Ruth Randall (stillborn 1924) and Anne E. Randall. William died in Portsmouth 18 May 1968.
