5 to 7 p.m. Opening Reception

Friday the 13th is a lucky day for those who love portraiture! The Athenaeum celebrates the latest exhibit Painting Portsmouth Notables: 1750-1850 with an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
Co-curators of the exhibit are Elizabeth Aykroyd, Thomas Hardiman, and Sandra Rux, and they were assisted from other members of the Athenaeum Exhibits committee. The exhibit will be open 1-4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, and will close on Nov. 3, 2018.
