Portsmouth’s own Great Bay Sailor returns to the Athenaeum for a musical tribute to the Christmas season. With a repertoire whose roots sink deep in the folk songs of the British Isles, Canada and Appalachia, Great Bay Sailor will warm a chilly December evening with songs that carry you away to another time and place. Songs of Christmas past, home and hearth and cold winter nights warmed by the laughter of family and friends. Songs that will have you reflecting pensively at one moment, and toe tapping or singing along the next. But one thing is certain, these are not the typical sounds of the season with which you are probably familiar. Rather, they harken back to a distant and simpler time. A traditional folk Christmas!
Very limited seating, please call (603) 431-2538 to release your spot(s) today!
