Scope and Content:

Philip H.Kendrick, architect, renovated several historic Portsmouth buildings, of which these are the records. Drawings, plans and correspondence are provided for the Dr. Samuel Clark Residence, 40 Howard Street; Langley-Boardman House, 152 Middle Street; National Gypsum Offices, Atlantic Heights; Oar House Restaurant, Ceres Street; Condominium Development, 3 Hancock Street; the Warner House, 12 Daniel Street and the Benjamin Webster Tenant House on State Street.  Kendrick’s company, Kendrick and Malone, P.A., was located at 40 Winter Street, Rochester, NH, in the 1980s. They later moved to 680 Central Ave. and 41 Winter St., Dover, NH.
