DESCRIPTION:Winners of the 2024 Avery Fisher Career Grant and the Cleveland
  Quartet Award\, the Balourdet String Quartet is known for its fearless cr
 eativity and tight-knit musical chemistry. Currently the Graduate Quartet 
 in Residence at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music\, the ensemb
 le has performed at Carnegie Hall\, Wigmore Hall\, and alongside world-ren
 owned composers.\n\nWith more than 70 concerts per season\, the Balourdet 
 String Quartet pushes the boundaries of the string quartet repertoire\, pr
 emiering works by leading contemporary composers while staying deeply conn
 ected to classical tradition.\n\n$30 admission per person or $10 per stude
